Amazon.de Kindle Content Store is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Intern to help expand our business and create innovative customer experiences.

The successful candidate will have a passion for books, a deep understanding of the current literary landscape, and a strong background in developing and executing bold creative merchandising and promotional strategies. Candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and working in a team environment, and must be obsessed with serving the customer.

The successful candidate will own highly visible programmes and projects, with responsibilities that include measuring and analysing the performance of onsite, device and email channels; identifying new opportunities based on customer and business data; and managing projects that rely on close collaboration with technical and business teams within Amazon.

We operate in a fast-paced environment and require someone with initiative who can meet deadlines, while remaining flexible, detail-oriented, and innovative.

In this position, candidates will:

• Plan, coordinate and execute merchandising and promotional initiatives for the Kindle Content Store.
• Write strong copy, including irresistible calls-to-action, for targeted audiences.
• Analyse traffic patterns and optimise for seasonality, relevance, and selection.
• Drive site improvements to completion by coordinating with project managers, web developers, designers, marketers, and other online marketing managers.

Anforderungen

• Currently enrolled in an educational program at bachelor or master level or graduated in the last three months;
• Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Proven track record of taking ownership;
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen (strong bias for action), willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills (includes ability to use tools such as Excel); ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German and English)
• Strong affinity for digital technologies
• Highly detail oriented

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a Bachelors program
• Understanding of advertising in the offline sphere (POS advertising, OOH, print advertising)
